Snowboard!

Today I went snowboarding in the snow and I did a jump and then fell. I tried to do a full twist but that didn't work out so well. I ended up having my face in snow. I also boogie boarded. I went down the hill really fast. My sister also got hurt when she was sledding down the driveway because it was covered in snow. She fell in the snow and Zach fell on her. The doctor thought she broke her arm, but she didn't. It hurts but she will be okay. I am so glad.

Today (Wednesday) we had a huge snow storm. Finally we have some snow to snowboard in and sled. Maybe we can build a luge. We had an hour delay for school.

Save the Whales

There is a group of activists trying to stop whaling on Japanese ships. So they go out and chase down the ships that are killing the whales illegally and they throw chemicals at them. The chemicals don't hurt the people but they stink and make it so the whale meat can't be eaten. The main guy says someone from the Japanese ship shot him but he had a bullet proof vest on. The Japanese deny any shots were fired.

I think it is wrong to hunt the whales but I also think it is wrong to throw chemicals at the whalers. What if another animal gets hurt with it and also are any chemicals that safe for people? Maybe they should all sit down and talk.

In Iraq, President Bush had shoes thrown at him by a reporter. I hope they didn't smell. President Bush made a joke, but I think he was upset.

Slammin' Math

Today I had to take the math test I missed on Friday because of the ice storm. I did great. So my parents are happy!!

Governor Blagojevich

About a week ago, Gov. Blagojevich ("Blago") was arrested for trying to sell or trade Barack Obama's Senate seat to the highest bidder. He wanted lots of money. The FBI's files said that Blago was tired of being stuck as a governor.

I think that Blago should have to do more than go to jail, like community work and stepping down as governor. This is not what democracy is about. It is downright mean.
